MIAU.rec is a video production studio based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. For any question about your personal data, you can reach us at contact@miau.md.
2. What data we collect
We only collect personal data when you provide it to us directly, through:
- The contact form / quote calculator — name, email address, phone (optional), and whatever project details you choose to include. The form does not send this data to a server or database — it opens your own email application with the message ready, and you decide whether to send it.
- Any follow-up correspondence by email, if you write to us directly at contact@miau.md.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar), and we do not collect email addresses for newsletters or marketing. The site stores only your light/dark display preference locally, in your own browser — not on our servers — a technical setting unrelated to your identity.
Like any web hosting service, the server hosting this site may automatically log minimal technical data (IP address, browser type) for operational and security purposes — this is standard hosting-provider practice, not something we control directly.
3. Purpose of processing
We use the data you send us exclusively to respond to your request — to discuss your project, prepare a quote, or coordinate a collaboration.
4. Legal basis
We process this data based on your consent (when you choose to write to us) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes. The site is hosted on servers within the European Union.
6. How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for as long as necessary for the collaboration, or as required by legal record-keeping obligations (e.g. contractual/financial documents), after which it is deleted.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Moldovan Law No. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to:
- request access to your data;
- request its rectification or erasure;
- object to processing or request its restriction;
- request data portability;
